There's no universal right answer, only criteria we look at together before recommending an approach:
- Budget and timeline: an MVP to be delivered in a few weeks doesn't carry the same constraints as a critical system designed to last several years.
- The complexity of the business logic: simple rules can be built quickly in low-code; specific processing or heavy integrations call for custom development.
- Security, compliance or volume constraints: some contexts require full control over the infrastructure.
- Who will maintain the tool after delivery: an internal team that needs to be able to evolve the application itself often points towards low-code.
- Dependency on a third-party vendor: a strategic asset at the core of your business is better served by code that belongs to you entirely.

If your application grows and its constraints exceed what the platform allows, we can evolve a specific building block towards custom development without rebuilding everything, or migrate fully if that's the right choice going forward.
